Natural Bending Direction
When both ends of the hose assembly are bent fittings, there is an angular relationship between the two bent fittings during assembly. To measure this, straighten the hose assembly and view it in a straight line. Position bent fitting 1 vertically upwards and measure the angle between bent fitting 2 and the vertically positioned bent fitting 1 in a clockwise direction. This angle is known as the assembly angle of the hose assembly and is represented by V. For example, if the assembly angle α is 225°, it is marked as V225.

When hoses are stored in coiled bundles, it becomes difficult to straighten them during assembly. When a section of the hose includes a bent fitting, there is a relationship between the bent fitting and the natural curvature of the hose.
